The Feywild
The Feywild is a plane twin to the Material realm, albeit more chaotic. Magic abounds in this plane and odd phenomenon are the norm in it. It is a dangerous realm where questions are dangerous and deals even more so.
Geography
The landscape of the Feywild is a replica of the material plane. However, it is a chaotic replica. For example in a point where you might encounter a mountain in the material plane you would find one in the fey realm too. Maybe the mountain is turned upside-down or maybe it floats in the air, but it is ther nevertheless.
Ecosystem
Fey creatures are acustomed to this kind of chaotic behaviour and have evolved to adapt to it. Some use deception to trick victims, some use camouflage and some just plain old girthiness. The land itself is constantly changing so keeping track of where you have been can become difficult even for the most deft of rangers.
Keeping track of time can also be a difficult thing, since sometimes a day might last minutes and sometimes it might last weeks. This weird phenomenom has sent many an explorer to an early grave from exhaustion.
Localized Phenomena
Aether storms are a common occurrence in the fey realm. During one of them, fireballs might fall from the sky, you might feel the urge to laugh incontrallably or you might be smited with the power of the sun.
Climate
The climate is an unpredictable as anything else in this realm. You might find a sandstorm in the jungle or snowfall in the desert.
Fauna & Flora
The fauna and flora have learned through years of evolution to adapt to these bizarre occurrences. Most of the creatures in this realm have developed unique ways of pray snatching. The only constant is that anything can be lethal in this realm if you give it enough time.
History
Many explorers have tried their luck against the craziness of the Feywild, less have come back and even less have done so sane. As such, the Feywild is an uncharted land with nothing but stories about it. Some surely exagerated, some not so much. Not even denizens from the realm know everything about it.
