Canu's outpost
Canu's outpost near the border. Located in the Forbidden Forest .
This is where she takes Tenoch (Refuge).
The cabin is a small, dark room lined with shelves full of potted plants and tools. Several crates/trunks and a desk sit between the shelves. A roughly-hewn table sits in the middle of the room with a small crate for a chair. An incredibly large pile of blankets is tossed in the one corner. There are some plants hanging from the ceiling, too. A medium-sized hole is knocked into one of the walls, just big enough to stick your head and shoulders out of, but not much else. A blanket it tacked over it like a curtain. In the ceiling is a trap door big enough to lower a crate through. The place has the feel of a hunting cabin, storage room, and garden shed mashed together.
Detailed layout: One end of the room is shelves full of plants. Another shelving unit/wall is filled with gardening tools. (Spades. Buckets. Sacks of dirt and other strange plant-food-looking stuff. Jugs of water with siphons that run to some of the plants. Small jars filled with tiny bones from a dozen dead critters. Other jars with seeds and powders and pastes.) Between the shelves is a large, empty desk with a locked wooden trunk nestled beneath it.
The other end of the room is full of randomly-stacked wood boxes, crates, and trunks. Between the two ends of the room is an enormous mass of loose blankets and workcloths tossed into a pile. The blankets and cloths range from lap-sized to oversized and are in a variety of patterns and colors, some stained with dirt, others clean but worn. A few oversized shirts that would only fit Canu are thrown into the mix as well.
The metal trap door in the ceiling is toward the storage end of the room, and locks from the outside.
