Human

Humans are the most numerous of all the civilized races of Nespiere. With a variety of ethnicities, and a stake in every corner of the known world. Humans have dominated the Northern Realms for countless centuries and are know for their adaptability and versatility, humans throughout history been behind many of the largest and most prosperous of nations on Nespiere.   Distinct ethnic groups can be found throughout Nespiere, each with its own unique culture and appearance. While mingling can occur, most humans fall into these culture groupings more prominently than the others.
 

Races and Racial Traits

   

Sturnian


Many of those that hail from The Empire of Sturn tend to be superstitious of other racesand those that do not worship The High Father. They are a highly religious people that follow the Church of the Light Faith . Typically natural born citizens of Sturn are fair skinned and have brown, black, dirty blonde hair colors and earthy colored eyes.
  Sturnian characters get a +2 bonus to one ability score of their choice at creation.   Medium: Sturnians are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.   Normal Speed: Sturnians have a base speed of 30 feet.   Starting Bonus feat   Eye for Talent: They gain a +2 racial bonus on Sense Motive checks. In addition, when they acquire an animal companion, bonded mount, cohort, or familiar, that creature gains a +2 bonus to one ability score of the character’s choice. This racial trait replaces the bonus feat trait   Starting racial trait   Silvertongued: You were brought up as part of the bureaucracy learning extensive education and tact. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Knowledge (nobility) and Diplomacy checks.   Languages: Sturnians begin play speaking Common and their ethnic language (Sturnish or Gallic). Sturnians with high Intelligence scores can choose any languages they want (except secret languages, such as Druidic).  

Tulairian


Those that hail from Tulaire are more accepting of outsiders and other races and all religions for it is the sole birth place of democracy. Almost every ethnic group of humans can be found in Tulaire including half elves.
  Tulairians begin with +2 Charisma bonus.   Starting bonus feat   Dual Talent: Tulairians are uniquely skilled at maximizing their natural gifts. These humans pick two ability scores and gain a +2 racial bonus in each of those scores.   Languages: Tulairians begin play speaking Common and their ethnic language (Aegir, Tulisian, Sturnish, Gallic). Sturnians with high Intelligence scores can choose any languages they want (except secret languages, such as Druidic).   Starting racial trait   Guide of the Streets: You gain a +1 trait bonus on Initiative checks and Knowledge (local) checks.  

Aegir


From the Aegir Isle and the Northern cities of Glacern and New Aegin hail the Aegir people a sea fairing folk and highly spiritual people that worship The Old Way. Often people from the Isles are raiders, adventurers, or excellent warriors. To the other human cultures on Nespiere they are considered savages. These hardy folk are mostly fair skinned and have earthy eye color tones and hair colors.   Aegir characters get a +2 bonus to Strength and a +1 Bonus to Wisdom   Medium: Aegir are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.   Normal Speed: Aegir have a base speed of 30 feet.     Starting bonus feat   Toughness: You have enhanced physical stamina. You gain +3 hit points. For every Hit Die you possess beyond 3, you gain an additional +1 hit point. If you have more than 3 Hit Dice, you gain +1 hit points whenever you gain a Hit Die (such as when you gain a level).   Languages: Aegir begin play speaking Common and their ethnic language (Aegir). Aegir with high Intelligence scores can choose any languages they want (except secret languages, such as Druidic).   Starting racial trait   Survivalist: You gain a +5 trait bonus on all Survival skill checks made to get along in the wild, travel in severe weather, keep from getting lost, or predict the weather.   Sailor: Aegir characters start with +2 Profession Sailor
