Myrea Goddess of Magic

It is said that Myrea was once a Moon Elf mage of extraordinary talent and ascended to the divine realm to become the goddess of Magic, weaving her tale through the intricate threads of time.

Early Years and Mortal Ascension

Born in an ancient time where magic whispered its secrets to the chosen few, Myrea displayed an early prowess that set her apart. Her unyielding ambition and thirst for magical knowledge led her to unravel the deepest mysteries of the arcane. As her powers grew, so did her hubris, pushing her to challenge the boundaries of what mortals were meant to comprehend.

Quest for Power

Myrea's insatiable hunger for power became the driving force behind her magical endeavors. Each spell, each incantation was a step toward transcending mortal limitations. Her relentless pursuit often took her to the brink of forbidden realms, where chaos intertwined with the very essence of magic.

Chaos and the Natural Order

Myrea's magical journey became synonymous with chaos, as she harnessed its unpredictable forces to fuel her ascent. However, amidst the tumult, she also developed a unique connection to the natural order of magic. Her spells danced with the harmonious energies that governed the mystical realm, creating a delicate balance between chaos and order.

Ascension to Godhood

Myrea's mortal existence reached its zenith when she achieved a feat thought impossible - the transcendence into a divine being. Through a culmination of arcane mastery of an ancient tome called the Krux Magicus and a touch of divine intervention, she ascended to become the goddess of Magic. Her essence now intricately woven into the fabric of the cosmos.

Divine Domain

As the goddess of Magic, Elandra's domain extends beyond conventional spellcasting. She governs the chaotic forces and the natural order of magic, wielding influence over the very threads that bind the mystical universe together.

Hubris as a Cautionary Tale

Myrea's story serves as a cautionary tale within magical circles, a reminder of the perils that accompany unchecked hubris. Her ascent to godhood highlights the delicate balance between the pursuit of power and the respect owed to the natural order of magic.

Clergy And Followers

Myrea, now worshipped by wizards, sorcerers, and mages seeking mastery over the arcane, stands as a symbol of both inspiration and warning. Her presence echoes in the currents of magic, a testament to the mortal mage who dared to reach beyond the limits and ascend to become the embodiment of magical essence.

Association with other Gods

While Myrea might be the acclaimed god of magic she does not have the greatest appreciation from other Faith's.   The faithful of The High Father find her worship to be distasteful, not quite heretical but the Meer thought of mortals giving worship to a mortal that claimed divinity leaves a sour taste to the zealots of The Church of Light.   The Dwarves of The Great Maker revere Myrea in only her achievement and a lesson on personal hubris.   With The Aegir people following The Old Way it Is is an entirely different situation. Since it is commonplace in Aegir society for one to seekout personal glory and attain personal achievement in the eyes of the gods, it is thought that Myrea was granted godhood from Aegar himself.
