The Lost Continent/The Blessed Mountain

A massive volcano, the only active one on the planet, surrounded by lush jungle to the east and dense forest to the west. The entire landmass has the uncanny ability to disperse or even neutralize Myst, albeit extremely slowly. While this would not prevent the use of Myst magic, it does make creatures of the Myst prone to moving outside this region, and makes it impossible for the area to become saturated with Myst and any more distorted. There is a metal ore within the mountain and the land below the jungle, and well into the sea bed, that was created by the deaths of dozens of Entide gods over the decades and centuries following the fall of the Entide. This material was the secret of the golden hellforged. Early in the fall of the Entide, a genius researcher, and the ancestor of the Golden king, developed a way to incorporate this "holy metal" into the metallic parts of his biology after discovering its creation soon after the first deaths among those considered gods. For hellforged, this includes part of their brain, and a "living metal gland" which is a grapefruit sized organ which produces the materials which allow them to modify weapons and armor so heavily. Once this hellforged reached what he believed to be the peak of how he could use this holy metal on himself, he began creating pseudo-clones of himself that were further improved. These experiments would become the first Clan of Gold. As the myst was already becoming less dense in the area around the mountain, these golden hellforged were able to create some semblance of a peaceful region in the chaos of a broken world; all thanks to the sacrifice of so many gods, some willing and protecting, most simply growing too weak to maintain their self awareness. As the Golden King is the only one to have done any research on this material in hundreds of years, anyone else that even knows it exists likely has only heard a single story referring to a strange metal only mined on the lost continent and perhaps learning it has strange affects on altered matter if they try to learn more. Although these are likely rumors originating from the original Clan of Gold, and can't be followed to any real answers or sources.
