Hi Eric.
"Ain't nothin better than the noble art of punching a man in the face for a fistful of cash. If you got the muscle, and the looks, you can earn more than all those big-city nobles in their ivory towers" - Smoky O'Day, Boxing Coach
In the XGTE rules, pit fighting is a simple set of 3 checks. Now, you'll be split into 5 leagues - Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Champion.
Each league earns you additional cash, with increasingly difficult checks.
Advancement
To advance between the leagues, you need to win three fights (there are 3 fights per week), with an additional extra win needed for each subsequent league.
So, to get from bronze to silver you must win 3, to get from silver to gold you must win 4, to get from gold to platinum you must win 5, and to get from platinum to champion you must win 6.
Once you've won those fights, you must do a qualifying fight. This fight is done in initiative against a competitor. Winning the fight brings you into the next league, and grants a sum of cash.

Rolls
Each week, you can fight three times. You must make three checks. One Strength (Athletics), one Dexterity (Acrobatics) and one constitution check, where you add your highest hit die (so, hypothetically, a ranger would add 1d10).
The check for each week is:
