Jhael was born in the under dark, in the city of Tyrndenyr. Her mother is Etania, high priestess of the Spider Goddess and ruler of Tyrndenyr. It was an unhappy childhood, being put into vicious competition with many siblings and cousins, knowing that to survive you had to do well, but not so well that Etania would kill you. Eventually, she and a few of her siblings escaped to the surface world. Here she made her first true friends, and found her family, a ight knit group of thieves and con artists. Jhael also converted to the worship of St. Andrelle, the Lady of Secrets. She is dedicated to her faith almost as strongly as to her friends. She is an accomplished artist, something that was never looked upon favorably while she was growing up. She now tries to enjoy life as much as possible, and takes pleasure in the large and small things she experiences. Jhael is vehemently and violently opposed to slavery and to bullying and other forms of oppression. She still has a powerful temper, which on occasion gets the better of her. Along the way she was bound by a powerful wizard into the body of a succubus.
