A Kidnapping Prevented
General Summary
With COIL disbanded, several ex-members have begun a kidnapping ring where wealthy officials’ loved-ones are taken and held for ransom. The kidnappings often happen in plain view and will usually involve the pretense of a police intervention and investigation which usually results in paid ransoms, returned loved-ones, and the promised anonymity of the kidnappers.
Socrates has intercepted the planned kidnapping of a young girl, the daughter of a local judge who has quietly remained out of Destroyer’s cross-hairs, though he is sympathetic to the old-way.
Several of the New Champions agree to thwart this attempted kidnapping.
