Shamrock
A little bot'll do ye
However, at some point along the journey, the Luck of the Irish comes to bear and the device connected to Shamrock becomes unsealed. Over the next few minutes, he gains consciousness, but remains floating in the back. He looks over to The Shadow Queen and sees her floating unconscious as well. Because her hair is hanging downward, he notices the device on her neck. Being surrounded by the New Champions, he doesn’t risk removing her device…assuming they will notice. But he spends the next few hours planning their escape.
Once they arrive at the facility, he gets the sneak opportunity to remove the device from her neck. She falls to the ground and begins to regain consciousness. Before anyone can act quickly enough, she turns into shadows…
I confront the heroes for their cowardly attack and we work through our differences! We eventually decide to help them as I've completely lost faith in Destroyer's plan for the world! "Go n-ithe an cat thú is go n-ithe an diabhal an cat" and these guys are out to take on the Destroyer and shut him down. I can get behind that plan!
My Queen tries to seduce the one named Max but she does not have the same effect on him that she has on me!
Starfield girl goes up to do a recon of the area. She finds several guards further in the compound and alerts her team members and they inform TSQ and me. My Queen leads off and I follow. Max and the Brit girl go invisible. A disembodied voice tells me to attack the guard on the left side of the building. I go running towards him, wishing I could move faster, I yell out to the guard trying to let him know who I am and that I'm here with my Queen to help. She doesn't believe me and opens fire on me. The shots bounce off me and I look at her angrily!
My Queen seeking to help me casts a field of Darkness on the agent, and myself. "Dia ár sábháil" I exasperatedly yell at TSQ, "I canna see through yer darkness, How does this help me at all?" I bash the wall and stumble through the hole to the inner walls of the building. The Brit somehow attacks through the darkness taking out the agent, but ineffectively hits. The darkness is dropped, I climb up the wall to get at the agent who shot at me. I get up and the Brit knocks her out, I roll my eyes. Grab her rifle and break it.
Inside the building, an agent tries to activate the Destroids nearest him but fails. There are many many Destroids here. After all the agents are dealt with, Starfield girl starts taking apart the Destroids at a fast pace. We learn that these Destroids were being sent into the Cyberplane. Shammy gets a blank look on his face, "I dinna understand what that means" The others talk at length about not destroying this device that enters the Cyberplane, Starfield looks disappointed.
"The Cyberplane is a battery for the Vanishing!"
The Pretty Brit girl tries to engage me in conversation, a tale for a different time!
A fight's a fight!
So there we were, just minding our own business at the Education camp and suddenly this Starfield Girl comes blasting at My Queen and pops her for no good reason! Seriously, there are lots of good reasons to smack the Shadow Queen, but usually she's done something first! We were merely walking through the area! Sure I was carrying a bit o concrete, but still!
I defend my Queen and attack the Starfield Girl, getting a solid hit!
Blue Bolt flashes us, I swear I didn't see the trench coat!! I cuss in Gaelic "As ucht Dé" and am basically helpless now! I knew I should've invested in sunglasses! First chance that's what I'll do! The Lucks no holdin well thus far t'day. I dinnae know what happened next, something hit me twice but I know na what it were. I'm standing still, but not fer much longer!
Suddenly, I get reminded of the car bombing in Belfast that took out a complete city block, I lost my girl Fiona then. The blast caught her as she was gettin some dishes from the cupboard. She died in me arms... I still... still feel it were me fault as the Brits were likely targeting me for me own actions with the Irish Republic. They denied their involvement claimed it were the IRA bombing their own, Go n-ithe an tochas thú!! As if we'd bomb our own families ye Bloody Bastards!
In me grief I did terrible things in London, they couldna harm me, nor stop me. Till The Knights came lookin and then I knew it were time to leave for the Americas!
And I remembered naught after that...

Barney was in a mood, he had been in the gym doing some bench presses, but the limit of equipment they had made it difficult for him to get a good workout. He picked up the speed punch bag from where he had knocked it off the unit. Sighing as he crimped the ends back together - "Not so hard with yer rabbit punches boyo!" he says out loud. Shakes his head, "Good thing there's no one else in the gym to hear ya talkin wit yerself, laddie!"
He was getting back into the swing of hitting the bag with just a fraction of his strength, picking up the pace to keep the bag moving along. The girls he had been helping to get away from Destroyers' Talons, wandered into the gym. They weren't really here to workout, but they did seem to time themselves to arriving when he was in the midst of his own exercise program.
The Montcalm sisters, all 5 of them came into the room and headed over to the mats, where they started some stretching exercises, for warm-up. They were speaking to each other in their native French tongue, he knew just enough French to catch parts of their talks. "I wonder how long we'll be trapped in this city, I would love to see the hills of Arcalod again!" Jolie quips to Anaïs, Fleur, Esmé and Elise. They all look at Barney as he's continuing his workout, and they sigh at him.
The unfortunate part is that Barney thinks of these girls as his sisters, would protect them to no end, and they know it. But he still gets embarrassed when they look at him. he loses concentration again and hits the bag too hard snapping it off its pedestal (again).
"So lasses, what brings ye here today? Got more exercisin to manage do ye?" The girls chitter amongst themselves as they continue to giggle, "Oui ma cherie," Jolie says to him. "You keep wrecking ze ekeepment and zey won't let you use it anymore!" She grins, Barney turns red and says, "Have at ye then, I'm off to the showers!" he grabs his shirt and heads out of the gym. He hears disappointed sighs as he leaves. "Time fer a cold shower, boyo!"
Just getting out of the shower he overhears Max & Rocket talking about going to the Danger Room. "Lads," he interrupts, "Mind if'n I joins you for some of yer exercisin?" They look him over and invite him along, "Just so's ya know, I can take a hit or two and am handy in a scrap!" He feigns a boxing jab & punch and then grins. "What can you boys do?" He looks at them, Rocket says, "I like to run around" and Max says he's good at zapping things. Barney shrugs and thinks, not much information there, but I'm new to them too!.
They head to the Danger Room and he meets up with the other three members, Hot Shot, Liliana and Dragon Lady. They announce its going to be girls vs guys, the boys shrug ok. Barney suggests they team off as shirts vs skins, they'll be the shirts! There is groaning all around.
Inside the DR, Max turns us all invisible, "But I canna see me own body" Shamrock complains. max tells him you'll get used to it. Rocket goes racing off around the corner and announces he's found 2/3 of the ladies team. He attacks Dragon Lady. I go running into the building area to prepare to charge, moving about on the battlefield is part of my limitations. Max teleports to the top of the building and flashes the ladies. None of us notice the sound of electrical buildup. Liliana surrounds herself with a glowing energy ball and then attacks Rocket with some type of purple energy, it stuns him and stops him short. Hot shot comes out from behind a building and takes a bead on the stunned Rocket. Dragon lady does a flying kick vs the now visible Rocket but somehow misses.
On his next action, Rocket goes and steals THS's gun out of her hands. and runs away from her.
I come charging out of the room, and hit the wall that Liliana is standing on, I have a huge grin on me face and yell out, "I love a good battle!". I tear out a chunk of the wall she's standing on, successfully stunning myself! Nothing happens to Lilianna, she just looks down and laughs.
Suddenly the crackling forms itself into 6 Destroids. Max tells us to "Stay on target!" Rocket ignores Max and hits a Destroid with his vibrating palm attack. The Destroids attack us, most missing, one hits me and shreds my shirt but the damage doesn't phase me at all.
"I ask max if we're taking the Destroids out or continuing to focus on our Lady Team?" He says to target the Roids.
I climb up beside Liliana who is still blind and I tell her about the Destroids, and that I will protect if should they attack her! She can't hear me due to Max's earlier flash attack, but I don't know that!
Socrates comes over the loud speakers and closes down the Danger Room simulation. He is surprised about there being Destroids in the simulation. We end up in one of the ready Rooms to talk about what just happened!
