Regulatory Enforcement Agent Team (Ray Team)

Regulatory Enforcement Agents (REA but pronounced "Ray") were established soon after the IERA was formed in 2055. Their primary directive is to intercept and engage with paranormals who have been identified by the agency as "capable of vanishing" (CoV). Since formation, there have been at least seven publicly recognized REA teams, though there are surely more operating in secret across the US and international regions.   The REAs are organized into five person teams led by a senior REA commander who is responsible for coordination with the regional IERA office. REA teams typically have specialists in the areas of:
  • communications,
  • energy detection,
  • combat & extraction,
  • science/technology, and
  • sociology.
When a REA team has a 'super' in their ranks, the team's mix of specialists may differ, as needed.   Note: The original REA Teams were associated with the IERA regions. It is not currently known if the same teams exist and/or if they are still associated with the same regions.
