Season Two Recap…so far.

During the second year of the super-powered resistance known as the New Champions, several other heroes joined the cause: Lil’ Rocket (a super-suit powered speedster), Liliana (a mystical powered royal), Dragon Lady (a martial artist chosen by the remaining Ancestors), and The Hot Shot (a sharpshooter with untapped potential). The second season began with the introduction of agents in the resistance, attempting to liberate NAGA technology. (NAGA is the military police force in North American under Gigaton’s authority). The agents survived the endeavor, but they witnessed the rebirth of Mechanon, immediately followed by his takeover at the hands of…Algorithm!   Soon afterward, the New Champions encountered a new type of devastation — the formation of Ancestors. Stolen from Millennium City’s Chinatown’s, the Han Xin clan’s attempt to combine Ancestors into a being powerful enough to defeat Doctor Destroyer backfired when the combining of Ancestors claimed the lives of thousands, destroying entire cities in Northern Michigan.   The New Champions attempted to stop the formation of Ancestors, but ultimately it was Doctor Destroyer himself who foiled this plan and…saved the city from destruction?!   Though the New Champions escaped their face-to-face encounter with Doctor Destroyer, soon afterward NAGA’s efforts to locate and destroy the Resistance were increased.   Over the coming weeks, the New Champions were overwhelmed by the number of raids occurring against resistance cells across North America. The DarkR Web (their method of secure communications) had been extended and connected to the resistance fighters…but that only proved how perilous the resistance seemed…there were raids reported almost daily.   Though the New Champions are able to help, they alone aren’t enough.
