Unfinished Business

Sean Rogers, the last Silver Avenger, has recently been getting settled in at Homestead. While helping to rebuild and restore normal operations, Socrates also tasked him with identifying possible backup locations, in case Homestead is ever compromised, again.
At the top of the short-list, Sean remembered a DEMON dark-site — a once-active lair previously shut-down after it was raided by PRIMUS agents. He shared what happened aloud with the group,
“Early after the Vanishing, PRIMUS continued to operate. Agents banded together and attempted to carry out previously established strikes. Most of the leadership was missing, but there were still many agents loyal to the mission. I was one of them.”
He paused, looking down as he recounted what happened next,
“One of the first missions after the Vanishing was a nearby DEMON site infiltration. The PRIMUS group who infiltrated the underground DEMON lair found it practically empty inside. But before they could undertake a thorough sweep of the lair, another unit — my unit — was ambushed by an overwhelming VIPER contingency, now operating as “the Law”. We put out an emergency request for backup and the team from the DEMON site-infiltration came to our aid...to their death, really.”
Sean continued, “The PRIMUS agents sealed the DEMON lair before they came to aid my unit. I expect that it is still sealed. Socrates has been monitoring satellite feeds of the entrance to the base for the past two weeks and there has been no activity. The warehouse facility above ground — the cover for the lair’s use of public utilities — has remained active, though abandoned. It will take some work to clear out the lair and confirm it is a safe option, but we believe it is the best course of action right now.”
Socrates confirms this assessment and adds, “It may also be good to have a bit of quiet from the emerging ‘terrorists’ in Millennium City. News reports about the ‘Killer Hope’, and headlines from Mr. Rogers’ escape at the airport have increased our risk level. And now, with the appearance of Destroids at the Tower alongside Algorithm...we must be much more careful.”
Sean provides the location of the DEMON lair and brings up the satellite feed revealing a warehouse on the outskirts of London, Ontario. The underground entrance isn’t visible, but he draws a circle around its location. “This is the only way in to the lair”.
