Cyrus
Cyrus is Persian by mortal blood, and a Methuselah by age if not Blood. But Hiram doesn't hold that against him, and keeps his true age a secret. Just as Cyrus does not lament that the Irish-English Hiram has the bloodline created by the Red Sultan flowing in his veins, and keeps the nature of what happened the nights of the Great Fire a secret. Cyrus came early to America, one of the few to do so when the Ottoman Empire still existed. Cyrus resents the breaking of his beloved Empire, and despises modern conventions of the Middle East. He collects artifacts of his homeland and its ancient empire.
As to his Blood, he traces his bloodline back to ancient Egypt in an unbroken line. He is justly proud of his lineage and keeps its lore alive. His line exists to fight the Stryx, to serve Set and become as shadows. And he faithfully wages his ancient war with all the fervor of a man who has accepted his own death.
Cyrus is part of the Jaliniyya, but is not Islamic. He follows ancient Kemetic ways and despises the Celtic influences in the Circle of the Crone, because of his patronage though, he holds some sway with the remnants of the Fir'awn. Because of his dual influence and his station, he has had time to study Kimiya and Majnun. Many of his Childer are academically bent, but he vows to teach all of them the arts of Strix-fighting during their fledgling period. Because of his dual focus though, few of his Children join him in the Jaliniyya and instead choose to join other Covenants.
