Frederick Carpenter is a Wizened Artist of the Court of Winter.
MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS
Personal History
He was born Eddie Wright. One day an incomprehensibly beautiful woman with sad eyes asked if that made him Mr. Right and when he answered yeah, he was led on a merry chase into Arcadia and captured. That was in the 70's. He escaped, but lost his name. He took up carpentry as an apprentice and spoke rarely except to utter his favorite curse - "Frick!" - and did so at every little problem. It became a nickname, of sorts, and he began to answer when other people said it, always asking what was wrong and replying to their problem by saying it. The union boys began to just address him as Frick.
Then Frick met his fetch. The ensuing chaos destroyed the shop and Frick vanished for a time. When he came back, he answered to Frederick or Frick and tried to get his life together with the fetch's wife. He and she broke up shortly afterward and she disappeared.
Nowadays, Frick is a carpenter, an Artist that makes metal sculptures and furniture that look like they were made of carved wood. His "Post-Modern Forest" schtick is a hit with hipsters, and he lives comfortably entrenched in the world of Mortals as Frederick. Many Changelings have his art in their Hollows, loving his unique skills.
