Grigor Black
Grigor is old. He's a Nosferatu, a Keeper of the Dark, and resides almost wholly underground. He is the progenitor of a couple of Dhampyr whose families have prospered and has developed a love of following his progeny's activities. He's moved around a lot, and occasionally has considered Embracing a Childe from his genetic bloodline, but never seems to find the precisely right one in time.

Personal history
How old is Grigor? Even he doesn't know. He was found, half-insane, under a pier in Venice by Emma Valgard in December 1552. Emma's interaction cleared the Haunt's mind for a time, and Grigor became obsessed for several weeks until his mind fully cleared. Afterward, he saw what she did for the Benighted Republic of Venice and began investigating the mysteries and cults he uncovered. It took years, and forced him into hiding in the caves beneath the city where he found his prior Haven. Rediscovering his Haven and prior research and activities, he began to piece together what had happened to him and was horrified. He packed and fled the City that year, in the winter of 1561.
