Henry Englysche

The now-deceased boatswain of the carrack Mary Rose. He trained up Erik of Iceland, actually Emma Valgard, in the keeping of an English ship of war. Mental characteristics Personal history Henry joined the Navy at 14 and worked his way through the ranks for over thirty years, becoming first the boatswain's mate of several ships before his tenure aboard the Mary Rose as her boatswain.
