Lill Inkwell

Lill Inkwell escaped the Bookman, a demented scholar and librarian with a sadistic streak. With her fellow GrymmPen she was able to write a binding contract for their freedom and trick the Bookman into signing it, and they escaped Arcadia in a flurry of magic that left them stranded in the real world without a Mask. Thankfully, Chicago was on fire and no one noticed. She and Grymm scoured the Hedge for any pieces that could hide their fae mien and she bargained memories for a few. The memories taken were those of their Keeper, leaving them with only a name Bookman...or maybe Bookmen?

Lill and Grymm struggled to remember, but returned to Chicago all and paid for information that could lead to the titles of various Keepers or their own past. They built their own motley, named the Book Men, and opened a bookstore. Lill wrote stories and Grymm printed them on their own press, publishing the works as limited press runs.
