Sirensong
While believed to be extinct in their native mediterranean, the Siren diaspora persists in the carribean to this day. They are extremely reclusive as a society in an effort to protect themselves from the predations of a fearful humanity. Despite this interactions still do occur and to further defend themselves the Sirens have developed their songs in new and frightful ways.
The sirensong that once would lure mortals to the Sirens has changed. Now the magic in their harmonies can conjure fog or winds, send illusions into the minds of mortals, or even permanently deafen those who hear it.
