Basking Shark | B2

The basking shark is a plankton-eating shark species, and it has anatomical adaptations for filter-feeding, such as a greatly enlarged mouth and highly developed gill rakers. The gill rakers are used to catch plankton and other debris as water filters through the mouth and over the gills.
