Personal history
Born as the result of a wealthy English squire's fling with his housemaid, the Nameless was unwanted by almost all her family except for her eccentric stepuncle.
The stepuncle tried to send her to the New World to give her a better life when she was almost fourteen, but the ship she went on sunk in a storm. She was rescued by pirates and spent the rest of her youth in a pirate nation.
Because her father waffled and refused to declare her a legitimate heir, the Nameless is the only known lion who has no surname. The pirates call her Captain Lion regardless.

Was a pirate off the African Gold Coast from 1840 to 1850.
