A foster sister of Nuwa when they were up in heaven. Her sister's death affected her greatly and she took it upon herself to watch over their finest creation.

The sole goddess of love, and one of the several of warfare until she was banished for her worship indirectly causing people to go insane.
The last straw leading to her banishment was her role in Nuwa's shattering.

Guided the Yellow Emperor in a battle against the demon king Chiyou.

As a primordial being, Tian Ai holds relatively ancient views about marriage and sexuality, with the sole exception of being accepting of premarital sex.
She used to grant great powers and boons to any hero who requested her services. She stopped doing this after being implicated in the formation of the five bad brothers.
