Endbringer Cults

These cults worship various godlike entities and demons that have appeared throughout the history of the world. Endbringers have no official definition, and refer to often large beings with immense magical potential that can destroy entire cities and lay waste to entire provinces before their rampages are stopped.
Endbringers have taken multiple forms over the years, and have been stopped through heroic interventions by brave adventurers, government action, or divine intervention from the collective. Some of the most common "endbringers" are:

• Elemental Titans awakened through natural expansion or cult activity
• Ancient Dragons who turn their attention to nearby kingdoms
• Demon lords summoned through rituals
• Deities able to summon a physical avatar

A common Endbringer cult that has never once been seen in our recorded history is the Cult of the Tarrasque. The Tarrasque is a being said to be created by the Netherese meant to destroy entire civilizations at will. Thankfully all current research points to this creature being a myth or conflated with other elemental titans that have appeared in history.
