Session 13: Abomination Ambush

General Summary

Anton, Kaja, and Belmund fight off against Fenwick's abominable creations. The Duke takes a quick way out, and Frankie waits for everyone to return.
After some extra negotiating, Shtriga Nonna agrees to boot out the adventurer's after dinner is done. Ceemal the Camel leaves to go and discuss with the other abominations. Anton convinces the others to fight right now instead of getting forced out. Duke Viktor Harpaine asks to negotiate with this hag a bit longer. Behind closed doors, the Duke makes a deal with the hag that allows him to teleport into the city in order to make a secret meeting with the still surviving memebers of Sienna Harpaine 's criminal operation. With his price paid, the Duke apologizes to the group and blinks away from the hut.
Shortly after this, Anton steps foot outside the cabin. A snide warning from Nonna allowed them to realize one was waiting under the hut. Leaping into the thick of things, Anton gets jumped on by most of the Abomination squad. A bloody melee occurs, and it is very uncertain who will come out on top. Kaja Petrov is brought to an inch of death after being clobbered by Boog the gorilla-rhino hybrid. Anton Chooze cleans up house with the help of Belmund Brokenback, massacring all of the others with swiftblade strikes displaying a sheer mastery of magic and martial together. The Owl-Dragon Hybrid above managed to make off with the remains of Ceemal in an anguished retreat.

That evening back in the city...

Duke Viktor Harpaine met at the theatre in Old Town District that was still standing after the impact. The Harpaine Family had helped donate a generous amount to its magical refurbishment years ago. He soon realized it was a sting operation. On the other end of the sending stone was the The Church of the Collective and Aggreived Military Psionics doing an investigation into Sienna's death. They believed the Duke's attempted double agent move, and assumed he had always been part of the kidnapping of Ester Eli .
