The Collective

The Collective is the name given to the divine power behind the Church of the Collective. It mimics the ability and power of a divine being, but is instead drawn from the collective willpower of all members following the church. The true nature of the collective is a mystery, and even the highest members of the church have openly admitted that the miracle of this power is only possible thanks to the immense worship of the people. Devout followers, individuals born with natural magic ability, or those looking to make a divine pact can all access the power of The Collective. This often manifests as Psionic powers. Further, clerics and paladins who draw from the collective find themselves just as strong as their deity worshiping counterparts, and stronger than them in cases where they have the full support of the people around them.
