The Void

"What is the Void? It's hard to say. It is what lies at the beginning of all things, and at the end. It is creation and death. It is nothing, and yet so much more." -Spider

Z'hratian legend speaks of another plane outside the boundaries of the known world, the place between all worlds. It's told that the Void is an endless sprawl of almost complete nothingness.
Assorted old texts call it "the womb from which worlds are born," because prior to the creation of Z'hrat, the gods left their old world behind to create a new one. If the personal accounts of the gods are to be believed, Z'hrat is one of hundreds of worlds to exist within the Void.
The Void is also the only known afterlife to New Z'hratians, the final resting place of all souls which will eventually decay into nothingness. Unless, of course, they find a new world somewhere out there.
