Visual Design

AEGIS personnel predominantly employ shades of gray and black, exuding a sense of strength and authority through uniformity. Their sleek and functional uniforms are styled to exude a sense of discipline and technological prowess, incorporating a mix of modern and futuristic elements. Every member within an AEGIS establishment is meticulously dressed.

Goals

AEGIS's primary goal is to ensure peace and security throughout the system. They work diligently to protect humanity from all threats, both internal and external. Their emphasis on science and technology aims to advance human knowledge and provide cutting-edge tools for defense and exploration.

Biology

AEGIS is composed of humans who have undergone rigorous training to become specialists in their respective fields. Lightkeepers in particular, are highly qualified super soldiers with implanted MIND Link chips that enhance their physical and cognitive abilities.

Psychology

AEGIS members are dedicated and committed to their mission of safeguarding humanity. They possess a strong sense of duty, professionalism, and a desire to push the boundaries of science and technology for the betterment of all societies. The Lightkeepers exhibit a heightened sense of responsibility and an unwavering commitment to maintaining peace.

Language

AEGIS uses English as the standard communication language within their organization. Additionally, they have developed extremely powerful AI with advanced translation tools that all Lightkeepers use.

Architecture

Veritas Orbital Station is a massive installation with a combination of sleek, futuristic design and functional efficiency. The Project Huracan base is a huge complex, immensely fortified to withstand the extreme conditions of the open ocean. AEGIS facilities are sleek and clean with an emphasis on bright designs with high contrast. Their buildings and structures embrace Parametric architectural styles with sharp angles with a futuristic aesthetic.

Technology

AEGIS possesses some of the most sophisticated technology ever created by humanity. Their cutting-edge equipment, spacecraft, and weaponry are all at the forefront of scientific and military advancements.

The Lighthouse on Veritas Station is the headquarters of the Lightkeeper program, responsible for research, development, and creation of Lightkeeper exosuits and the soldiers who pilot them. Additionally, AEGIS has been able to utilize the materials gathered from Project Huracan to increase their genome sequencing and replication experimentation, resulting in the ability to accurately clone humans whose DNA mapping has been extracted. They use this technology in conjunction with MIND Link implants to reproduce Lightkeepers, able to recover any losses and redeploy with minimal setbacks.

Hierarchy

AEGIS follows a military style hierarchical structure, with high-ranking officers overseeing various departments and teams. The Admiral of AEGIS is the lead official of the organization followed by Captains, Squadron Commanders, and finally individual Lightkeepers. Any AEGIS personnel outside of these ranks or positions are often directed by Lightkeepers who are considered high ranking officers who hold significant authority.

Squadron Commanders are the lead Lightkeeper in a group of three pilots. They can direct the individual actions of their two other companions. Squadrons take their orders from Captains of which there are few. Captains generally dictate what missions individual Squadrons are assigned to. The Admiral commands all Captains below them.

AEGIS is somewhat of a vigilante organization that considers themselves a sovereign entity operating beyond political or jurisdictional bounds, obeying their own set of morals and laws. They act as universal peacekeepers, entrusted to make the best decisions for humanity with no jurisdiction and minimal oversight.

Social Structure

AEGIS is a meritocracy. The organization that values expertise and competence. Its members come from diverse backgrounds, united by their commitment to the organization's goals.

Command Structure

The organization has a clear chain of command, but they operate with minimal oversight, allowing the Lightkeepers to act as universal officers and make vital decisions in critical situations.

Weaponry

AEGIS employs advanced energy-based weapons, versatile ranged and melee armaments, as well as cutting-edge defensive systems integrated into their exosuits.

Vehicles

AEGIS operates a fleet of spacecraft for defense and exploration. They have specially designed Starhawk craft for Lightkeepers to use as interstellar transport as well.
