The Carnax have a striking and imposing visual design that combines ancient Egyptian and early tribal elements. Their leaders, the Chosen, have red and orange skin, long snouts, and stand at an impressive ten feet tall, while the lower ranks, the Herd, have greenish blue or gray skin and are six feet tall. They possess a muscular, hunched-over posture and have two digitigrade hind legs, two articulated arms, and long tails. They bear razor sharp claws and teeth, as well as large spines and spikes for their more fearsome members.
Their clothing ranges from shining armor and royal garments to tattered cloth for the lower caste members, reflecting their warrior nature. They often carry weapons with them, further emphasizing their militant lifestyle. They have a royal gemstone color palette of deep red, blue, purple, yellow, and green with a major emphasis on gold.
Goals
The Carnax are extreme religious zealots, worshiping the Eternal Relics and their Holy Emperor with undying devotion. Their primary goal is to dominate the galaxy in search of the Eternal Relics which they believe will give them power over all of existence. They are ruthless conquerors who seek to expand their influence and enslave other species to serve their cause.
Biology
The Carnax are a lizard-like species with strong, muscular bodies. They have digitigrade hind legs, articulated arms, and long tails. The Chosen, their leaders, have red and orange skin and stand at ten feet tall, while the Herd, the lower caste, has greenish blue or gray skin and is six feet tall. Carnax have excellent vision, sense of smell, lightning reflexes, tactical acumen, and many other traditionally human emotions. They have a lifespan of thousands of years.
Psychology
The Carnax are deeply devout in their religious beliefs and loyalty to the Empire, viewing the Eternal Relics and their Holy Emperor as divine entities. They are resolute and unwavering in their quest for galactic domination, driven by their faith and desire to follow the will of their god-like leaders. They are strategic but also filled with warrior-like rage.
Language
The Carnax have their own distinct language, which incorporates hissing, guttural sounds, and clicks. It is a complex and nuanced language that has evolved over their long history. Additionally, they have a runic written language as well. This language is a simple, one-to-one substitution cipher with the English alphabet. Their runes are written vertically, top to bottom, left to right.
Architecture
Carnax architecture features sharply angled geometric designs, blending ancient Egyptian motifs with futuristic elements and tribal accents. Their structures are grand and imposing, adorned with royal gemstone colors and an excess of gold. This unique blend creates an awe-inspiring and otherworldly aesthetic.

The Carnax have developed extremely advanced machinery and technology. Their weapons are almost entirely energy-powered and their armor is made of strange and incredibly durable materials. They can generate Ballistic force fields, have immensely powerful and futuristic equipment and vehicles.
They possess several Eternal Relics which are ancient devices capable of extraordinary power. These relics allow the Carnax to create life from pure energy to form the Ruin, biosynthesize Quicksilver, instantly teleport across vast reaches of space, and more.
Hierarchy
Carnax society is structured into a rigid caste system, with the Chosen at the uppermost eschalon assuming roles similar to Egyptian pharaohs. They command an army of the lower caste, the Herd, who serve as warriors and servants. And below the servants are the Bound, a massive collective of enslaved creatures from across the cosmos.
Social Structure
The Carnax are divided into multiple Houses within their greater society, allowing them to proliferate autonomously. Each House operates with some independence and autonomy with their own ideals and direction, but they ultimately follow the rule of the Empire.
Command Structure
Carnax leaders hold vast power and authority within their society. They command the Herd, who are the warriors and servants of the species. Their command structure is hierarchical and strictly adheres to their religious beliefs and direction of the Emperor.
Weaponry
As a warrior species, the Carnax always carry weapons with them. Their weaponry is highly advanced and includes energy-based weapons, blasters, and melee weapons, reflecting their militant nature. While they utilize amazing, state of the art technology, they do not shy away from their cultural heritage, incorporating tribal aesthetics and usage into their daily lives. They have ranged weaponry, but prefer hand to hand combat with bladed weaponry and claws.
Vehicles
The Carnax fleet is massive, filled with advanced and formidable vehicles in their quest for galactic domination. Their craft feature the same imposing designs making them instantly recognizable. They operate the largest fleet of the largest warcraft ever to have existed.
