Appearance: Tall and well-built. Medium length brown hair, strong eyes, with a rugged, battle-worn look. Her movements are slow and strained due to exhaustion and injury. She wears standard-issue steel alloy military armor for lightweight personnel consisting of a chest piece and armored plating for arms and legs. Her gear shows signs of heavy wear including heavy scuffs and exposed internal components.

Biography: Essa is a fearless AEGIS soldier driven by a deep sense of duty and honor. Her journey took an unexpected turn during a mission to thwart a Carnax incursion when she and her squadron found themselves outnumbered and overwhelmed by enemy forces forces. Her capture marked the beginning of a harrowing ordeal not only to survive, but establish a rebellion from within enemy captivity.
Despite her status as a prisoner of war, Essa's resourcefulness and determination helped her to establish clandestine communication channels back to AEGIS with the assistance of another enslaved being, a synthetic life form referred to as Twenty Eight. Essa was injured during her initial contact with the Carnax but showed a bold resistance, leading War Prophet Hestus to take interest in her. She was tended to by fellow AEGIS soldier Prevan Arya
Through subjugation, Essa has emerged as a powerful force by motivating and leading others to join together. Her strong yet sympathetic demeanor has helped her form unexpected alliances, allowing her to operates as a spy within the Carnax installations while coordinating rescue operations for her fellow captives.

Essa Ward is a courageous AEGIS soldier who endured the harrowing experience of being kidnapped by the Carnax during an incursion on Earth. She is a steadfast human female with light skin and medium length hair. She has lost much of her combat equipment and looks worn, but still has the appearance of a fighter.
Essa was injured during her initial contact with the Carnax, which led to Hestus pitying her. She was tended to by another captured human, Prevan Araya. She then helped form The Conflux with the help of other species she met through captivity, and would later work directly with Hestus. Though enslaved, Essa has emerged as a powerful force, motivating and leading others to join together. She works as a spy within the Carnax network, relaying information she uncovers back to the military. She is able to help set up ambushes and sabotage missions.
