GenTech Hunters

Scattered across the vast, desolate wastelands of Earth are the remnants of the GenTech corporation's formidable creations: Hunters. Originally designed in the 22nd century as autonomous killing machines, these advanced robotic monstrosities have remained on the surface despite an attempt at genocide against them. They remain ruthlessly efficient at eliminating human targets. Hidden GenTech self-replication facilities called Blacksmiths scattered throughout the world have allowed Hunters to survive the centuries and continue their relentless pursuit. With continued production of additional units, they have replenished their ranks and amplified their destructive force.
Beneath their thick armor plating of hardened carbon, a blend of lightweight composite materials grants them extreme durability and agility. Their sleek, angular design enhances their streamlined silhouette allowing for swift and calculated movements across various terrain. The Hunter's integrated arsenal features an array of weaponry, defensive measures, and targeting systems, all combined with a complex onboard neural network that provides adaptive learning capabilities. GenTech’s AI swiftly analyzes combat situations to strategize and exploit weaknesses. Its optical scanners, thermal imaging, and motion trackers allows the Hunter to swiftly respond to threats from all directions. Thanks to their hydrogen engines that are able to pull fuel directly from the environment, Hunters have a near-limitless supply of energy.
Hunters remain fearsome and deadly in the post-apocalyptic world, representing the dark legacy of GenTech as harbingers of devastation. The machines cover the Earth, still in search of targets. Humanity must remain on high alert at all times lest it become overwhelmed by their destruction. Until recently, they were thought to be extinct, but that misconception changed when a single Hunter attacked Bastion 30 years ago.
In addition to the standard Hunter units, equipment configurations have evolved and multiple specialized variants have been produced that gives an unprecedented level of adaptability and danger. Because they technically weren’t developed by GenTech, the variant models do not bear the corporation's name.
