Hestus the Banished

Hestus is an exiled former Carnax Prophet and the leader of House Conflux. Once a respected champion of the Carnax military, Hestus led an incursion on Earth, capturing several humans. In a strange turn of events, he began to feel pity for them. Hestus was seen showing what is seen as weakness, leading to his title of Prophet being stripped, a brutal round of torture, and finally banishment from the empire.
Despite his own kind turning against him, Hestus emerged as a beacon of hope and inspiration for those who sought liberation from the oppressive reign of the Carnax.
Being a former Carnax general, Hestus is an imposing figure that strikes fear in his enemies. However, his appearance bears the marks of his defiance and renunciation of his former allegiance. His once ornate and elaborate armor has been replaced with a more subdued attire. He bears scars from his time in combat as well as his corporal punishment.
As the leader of The Conflux, Hestus carries the weight of responsibility and the burden of leading a diverse and unconventional alliance. He possesses the fearsome yet charismatic presence to rally the exiles and the former slaves, igniting within them a sense of purpose and a shared mission. Hestus's profound understanding of Carnax tactics, rituals, and hierarchies grants him a unique insight into their operations, allowing him to devise strategic plans to undermine their influence.
