House Absolution

House Absolution is a false House that was created after the Emperor grew concerned with the number of Houses and their differing ideals. It is covertly a sect of House Judgement used as a clandestine method of exposing heretics and dispensing holy justice. The Sanctified Order is at the heart of House Absolution. They are masters of espionage and have successfully infiltrated nearly every other House. Its network of spies and infiltrators pose as arbitrators on behalf of all Carnax, preaching individualism, personal freedom, and a rejection of the hierarchy.

Sowing discord is a ruse intended to find those who would stray from the faith. Those who fall for this trick and admit thoughts that go against the faith are quickly collected and publicly punished, making a spectacle of the accused. Admissions are subject to permanent servitude, exile, or execution.
