House Divinity
Originally a group of spiritual leaders, several prominent Carnax priests seized the opportunity presented by The Rift to establish themselves as the dominant religious authority. They claimed direct lineage to the divine and positioned themselves as the custodians of ancient religious texts and the Eye of Truth. House Divinity was born, solidifying its position as the holy heart of the Empire.
It is the original and largest House. They are considered the cradle of Carnax lineage, possessing a rich history of tradition and honor. They are revered by most other Houses. As they command the resources of the Empire, members are distinguished by their ornate, vibrant attire. They bear the finest armor and weaponry designed to represent their status. They have a staunch devotion to the Holy Empire and its unwavering loyalty to the Emperor. House Divinity embodies the belief of universal superiority of the Carnax race and seeks to expand the Empire's influence with strength, honor, and the preservation of holy traditions. Their pursuit of glory in service to the Empire had allowed the House to survive for centuries.
Within House Divinity are the Consecrated, a sect whose sole purpose is the security of The Blessed Heart and commandment of its creations. Chosen from among the most devout members of House Divinity, Consecrated undergo spiritual purification rituals to ensure they are worthy of the Heart. Their Oracles are granted the gift of communing with the Relic, harnessing its power to bestow life to dormant energies and commanding the Ruin on behalf of the Empire.
However, the Consecrated have begun to splinter within House Divinity. While they are entrusted with the sacred duty of channeling the Heart's power, they also harbor a secret known to few: discovery that the Heart not only has the power to create benevolent ethereal warriors but can also be harnessed to create dark counterparts – shadowy entities known as the Forsaken Emissaries. This revelation has led to a subtle division within the Consecrated themselves. Some see the potential of utilizing both sides of the Heart's power, believing in overwhelming power above all else. They argue that by harnessing the Heart's full potential, they can better serve the Empire in its quest for dominance. Others vehemently oppose this notion, fearing the corruption and chaos that may arise from such an unorthodox approach. They are led by Hierarch Quillox Oracles:. Arbiters: four Prophets: several
