House Salvation
Once a proud, expansive House of Carnax priests and warriors, House Salvation fooled with powers beyond their understanding and control. In turn, they were annihilated from existence.
House Salvation had spent centuries conquering various worlds across the galaxy and had uncovered lost secrets that this universe may not be the only one. Through endless research and experimentation, they held an unholy ritual with the entirety of their House in attendance in the hopes of transcending reality together. In turn, they opened a rift into Dark Space, unleashing a torrent of abyssal energy that destroyed their bodies and destabilized the universe itself.
Some members of House Salvation now exist on the immaterial plane of Dark Space as spirit-like beings. They are twisted simulacrums of their former selves, some still ambitious of their distorted goals to become gods while others look for salvation from the inescapable prison. Their appearance is similar to Echoes, distorted, warped, and ethereal. They fade in and out of existence, struggling to stay substantiated. They appear ghostly and tortured by time.
Throughout Dark Space, individuals from House Salvation will both seek and offer help from visitors of reality, hoping to form a mutually beneficial alliance. Helping them will allow access to further hidden areas of the abyssal plane as well as powerful rewards.
