Visual Design

Sentinels are massive humanoid beings made of interwoven arcs of shimmering energy covered in ornate armor. Each Sentinel wields a unique weapon forged from the energy of Dark Space itself. They vary in specific adornment and movement, but ultimately they are all imposing and towering figures with vast amounts of power. They exhibit no emotion and exist only to defend their position.

Goals

Sentinels protect and defend the Ascendant Towers within Dark Space from any who seek to desecrate or corrupt their power. They are relentless in their eternal vigil to protect these sacred spaces.

Biology

Sentinels are beings of pure energy, created by The Endless to serve as guardians. They are massive and powerful, possessing immense strength and unique abilities. They appear as giant humanoids, a combination of ethereal knight and machine.

Psychology

Sentinels exhibit unwavering loyalty to their mission of protecting the Towers. They are formidable and relentless in their defense, adapting their strategies to overcome any threats from intruders. They have no emotion and do not respond in any way other than aggression or stoicism.

Language

Sentinels do not communicate in any other way than attacking.

Architecture

Sentinels are large beings with a machine-like facade. The Ascendant Towers they protect are ancient structures of immense power and mystery. They are beautifully designed spaces in an otherwise grim and chaotic world.

Technology

Sentinels utilize ancient and advanced technology that is not well understood. Their bodies and armor are powerful tools that exhibit astounding innate abilities. They are assisted by Lanterns as well in their duties.

Hierarchy

All Sentinels are considered equals and have no structure other than to obey their design by the Endless to stand guard for eternity.

Social Structure

Sentinels have no social structure. Each is an individual being who does not acknowledge others. They will operate together simultaneously without regard to each other.

Command Structure

Sentinels follow the directives of the Endless. They have no autonomy or desire for independent thought.

Weaponry

Sentinels wield weapons forged from the energy of Dark Space, each possessing unique abilities and powers.

Vehicles

Sentinels do not use vehicles. They are capable of moving efficiently by themselves.
