The Brotherhood Design

Visual Design

Members of the Brotherhood vary in design, from stylish, fashion-forward attire to unassuming clothing. Low level associates often appear as fairly normal citizens in basic but reasonable clothing. The higher the ranking member, the more sophisticated their outfits become, including suits adorned with expensive accessories like gold jewelry and cufflinks. Their clothing features the Brotherhood's emblem, a discreet mark indicating their affiliation. Many members also wear subtle tattoos or markings, representing their loyalty to their respective syndicates.

Goals

The main goal of the Brotherhood is to consolidate power and control all criminal activities within Bastion and Luna. They seek to expand their influence and profit through various illicit means, such as smuggling, trafficking, and assassination. Their ultimate aspiration is to become the dominant force in the city's underworld and to manipulate the political and economic landscape in their favor.

Biology

Members are primarily human citizens from Bastion, however they do have ties to reprogrammed robotics. Most individuals have standard builds, however some of the more powerful members are large and muscular.

Psychology

Brotherhood members are cunning, ruthless, and opportunistic. Driven by a desire for power and wealth, they do whatever it takes to get their way. Loyalty to the organization is paramount, so betraying the Brotherhood is met with severe consequences. They are adept at deception, manipulation, and subterfuge. Some of the more influential figures are extremely charismatic in addition to being both callous and cruel.

Language

While English is their common tongue, the Brotherhood has developed a coded language of slang they use within their ranks. They use cryptic terms and phrases to avoid detection and maintain the organization's secrecy. The language is constantly evolving, making it challenging for outsiders to decipher their communications.

Architecture

The Brotherhood maintains a network of hidden and fortified safehouses throughout Bastion and Luna. These locations are designed to be inconspicuous, blending into the urban environment to avoid attracting attention. However, the group's headquarters is a beautiful white compound within Bastion of a large mansion, gardens, and outbuildings. It is an incredibly secure and well defended site despite being very well known by residents and authorities.

Technology

The Brotherhood primarily relies on brute force for most of their operations, however some of the more complex missions require extremely high-tech equipment. They employ state of the art hacking and decryption tools, cloaking and shielding tech, and a powerful arsenal for assassins and enforcers. Their technological prowess allows occasional control to be taken of Dominion robotics.

Hierarchy

The Brotherhood operates with a strict hierarchical structure. At the head of the organization sits the Father, leader of the entire criminal enterprise. Below the Father is the Circle, a group of influential crime lords representing different syndicates within the Brotherhood. Beneath them are various lieutenants and captains, leading the different criminal factions. Below them are the foot soldiers, enforcers, and operatives who carry out the day-to-day activities.

Social Structure

The Brotherhood is tightly knit but secretive. Members are initiated through a process of vetting and loyalty tests. They maintain a close social structure, ensuring that their members maintain absolute loyalty.

Command Structure

The Father is the ultimate authority within the Brotherhood, issuing commands to all those below him. He is respected almost as he is feared, ruling with a stoic grin and an iron fist. Each syndicate has its own leader and representative within the Circle who manages the operations of their respective faction.

Weaponry

With few exceptions, Brotherhood members generally do not carry heavy weapons as their focus is on criminal activities rather than direct combat. Instead, they rely on concealed firearms, discreet blades, and other concealed weapons for self-defense and intimidation. They have been known to sometimes hack Dominion robotics and repurposing them for their own use.

Vehicles

The Brotherhood's members use inconspicuous and unremarkable vehicles to avoid drawing attention, often employing Grizzly Transports. They prefer to blend into the urban environment to avoid detection.
