Aaratica

The aaratica, also known as penguin aarakocra, are a flightless variant of their broadwinged cousins who are adapted to the sea rather than the sky. Their bodies make them excellent swimmers and they are arguably more naturally suited for tundra environments, both in the sea and on the ice, than any other known humanoid. On the Material Plane, they are almost exclusively found near the northern and southern poles of any world they inhabit. Some of their settlements can also be found in the Frostfell (the Para-Elemental Plane of Ice), namely in the area that borders the Elemental Plane of Water.
