Bahamut is the god of justice and lord of all good metallic dragons. While his true form is that of a gargantuan platinum dragon, he will sometimes transform himself into an elderly wizard to interact with mortals. His disguised self will often be accompanied by seven yellow canaries, which are in fact disguised ancient gold dragons that serve as his companions. Bahamut is a stern enemy of evil and accepts no excuse by those who willingly commit evil acts. Despite this, he is renown for his kind and caring compassion and knows that justice must be tempered with mercy and punishment with forgiveness.
Bahamut is a popular god of worship on Nexus and shrines to him can be found scattered throughout the world. Despite this, his influence is not what it once was after being severely reduced when Marshall killed any dragon, metallic or chromatic, that he came across while gathering his army of giants to wage war on Bahamut's sister, Tiamat. Though greatly saddened by the unjust loss of so many draconic followers, Bahamut acknowledged that Marshall's ultimate goal was for the greater good and considered the cleric to be a misguided extremist.
