Blade Guard

The Blade Guard is the official military of the duergar city of Brazenthrone and answers directly to Deepking Oghren Orzammar III. They are better trained and more numerous than any of the smaller military groups belonging to the city's nobility. They are also much better armed, being equipped with armor and weapons made using the full power of Yolheimsu'um's firey breath. This puts their equipment a step above that wielded by the city's other military duergar, and several steps above the equipment the duergar use for trade. Their leader is Commander Brannas Blackaxe, a woman tougher than stone who uses the Blade Gurad to ensure her king's rule remains enforced and unchallenged.
