Blood Bond

This curse was made to counteract mages who summon magical creatures to aid them in battle.
When casting a spell that summons a creature, such as summon beast or conjure elemental, you lose a number of hit dice equal to the level of the spell slot used. If you do not have a sufficient number of hit dice remaining, roll the difference and take that result in damage.
