Halls of the Awakened

The Halls of the Awakened are the hidden lair of the Architects of the Awakening cult. Here the duergar cult conducts horrific experiments in their attempts to amplify the psionic powers of their people, crossing ethical lines that even the peoples who inhabit the Underdark would collectively find abominable. Even should their efforts succeed, it is unknown if the other duergar would be willing to rise up as the conquerors the Architects wish them to be if it required the use of power gained through such horrific actions.
