House Arlathil

House Arlathil is one of the few drow houses on Nexus that practices the use of druidic magic rather than the divine magic and wizardry more common to their people. They are also unique in that they are the only such family that worships the goddess Eilistraee, the Dark Dancer, rather than the more common choice of Lolth, the Spider Queen, among drow. House Arlathil was once a minor house (i.e. not a noble one) in the city of Vlyn'darastyl and one of the few minor houses that willingly sided with House Vaerixas. This, unfortunately, meant that when House Vaerixas was ousted from their seat of power, so too was House Arlathil attacked.
They were separated from their allies in House Vaerixas and those who survived were forced to flee the city another way. It is unknown what exactly became of them, though the existence of Leh'ct Arlathil seemingly indicates that at least a number of them managed to survive for some length of time.
The druids of House Arlathil are known for two special items used in their druidic arts. The first is a briar vine, which is their item of choice for crafting a druidic focus that can channel their magic. The other is a talisman of some sort, though the exact nature of these talismans as well as the method of their crafting is something known only to House Arlathil.
