Orb of Machina

An orb of Machina is a small, crystal ball with the power to repair broken or breaking magic items. They can be obtained by chanting the magic words "Klaatu, berata, nikto" to summon the sphinx Machina and besting him in a game of riddles. Those who win his contest are awarded with an orb, though he only allows one challenger every few decades once his boredom has peaked. Those who fail the contest are devoured, or so Machina claims.
