House Tesper

House Tesper is most well known for having both celestial and draconic heritage. Their draconic blood is too thin now to imbue them with reptilian traits or abilities, it does however offer them an extended life span, the current Patriarch has been at the head of the family for over 50 years, and yet still appears barely 30.

Culture

The Tespers are very honorable and honest House, they have made their reputation having the most Knights in their retinue because they espouse the Knight's ideals so closely. They will never lay down arms when fighting for the honor of their House, when called upon they defend the rights of the innocent and are prepared to give their lives in these pursuits. They seek nothing above honor.

Public Agenda

House Tesper are seen as the valorous shield of the kingdom, providing noble knights for the defense of the realm. They seek a strong, well equipped chivalrous and honor bound military to best serve the King.

History

House Tesper must be a thousand years old according to the rumors, its founding was so long ago that no one really remembers how it came to be. All that is known is that at some point in the past a dragon in human form fell in love with Lady Tesper, (before the dragons went extinct) their twin half dragon children rose to great heights in Nexian society and went on to found the Order of Steel, the knightly order of the House.

Military

House Tesper has many banner-men, comprised of pikes and swords, bows and riders, ready to answer their call. The most elite unit is the Order of Steel knights.

Religion

The House one venerated the old god Torm and while some still do, most revere the new god Iomedae now.
