Draldin started life as a young girl living in the port town of Napier, New Zealand, aspiring to become a great engineer like her father. She completed college with a degree in Marine Engineering and while job searching her life took an unexpected turn. The job she took up on a ship named the Stormflayer ended up being a crew of pirates, forcing her to pledge allegiance to the ship and crew through a contract. However, while working on the Stormflayer, this would lead to Draldin finding their love, Kameo Jonti. The two began their life as a couple back in Napier and were set to be married when the Nexus began. The Stormflayer upon returning to Napier, after the Nexus transformed the world, Draldin found the town in ruin and Kameo was nowhere to be found. Draldin's anguish attracted the attention of Tāwhirimātea, a god who suffered a similar fate, and granted Draldin his power completely changing them into an unrecognizable creature. Draldin's goal now does not end with reuniting with Kameo, but unifying the world as it was before Tāwhirimātea's primordial parents were separated forever, and destroying those who would stand in their way.
