Eurydice

The beautiful wood Nymph was known for her amazing songwriting skills. This naturally attracted her to Orpheus, the son of Apollo. However, their happy life together was ruined when she was bitten by a snake, killing her. As she laid in a depressed stupor in the underworld, Pluto approached her and told her the challenge he issued to Orpheus. As they got close to the surface world, she saw Orpheus turn around, causing her to remain in the underworld, separated from him. To this day she believes he did this on purpose.
