Sanada Yukimura

Wielder of the Red Fire-Lion morpher and leader of the Shinkengers, his fiery attacks are only outclassed by the burning passion in his heart.
Yukimura has always had a knack for saving people, and some say even if the events of his childhood played out differently, he would still have accepted the title of Shinken Red. He secretly resented the title due to an incident involving his brother, Nobuyuki, the Shinken Red before Yukimura. When Shingen Takeda was in the heat of his conquest of the Mountain of the Rising Sun, Nobuyuki believed strongly in Shingen's cause of unifying the mountains and wanted to join. However, Shinkengers historically were not allowed to take sides, they were to fight for the land, not for a clan. Nobuyuki, determined to follow his desires, joined Shingen and thus was stripped of his title (and powers) as Shinken Red. This was then forced onto Yukimura, and while he did enjoy helping people, being forced to take on his brother's responsibilities when all his brother did was follow his heart, made Yukimura resent becoming Shinken Red. Despite this, Yukimura still took the job seriously and never let his resentment for his forced destiny get in the way of helping people.
At the attack on Honnoji, he suffered fatal injuries from his fight with Ravenger/Akechi, and was slain by Draldin. He was the only member of the Shinkengers who did not survive the attack, and with him the Red Fire-Lion spirit died.
