The Demon Monkey King
Most of his early life was spent parading around and throwing tantrums until he got what he wanted. He was then bested by Buddha, who challenged the monkey to leap from his palm, and after losing the bet was punished to be crushed by a mountain for the next five hundred years. Sometime later he met a monk called Tripitaka who freed Wukong but give him bracelets and a headband that would limit his destructive urges. The two were the first members of a group of divine beings seeking enlightenment
One day while traveling with Tripitaka's group they encounter a group of Players. Tripitaka believing enlightenment could be obtained by making a contract with this group told his whole party to do as he did. Wukong made his contract with a giant man named Ventus. Together the gods traveled the land till a Player named Baise Hu froze and shattered them all but Wukong/Ventus. The two are now seeking vengenece at any cost
