House Svinfelling

One of the houses of the Trifectum. This House prides itself on their martial history, counting many legendary officers among their ranks. Svinfelling Druzhinas are highly disciplined, going through a grueling training regime and coming out exemplary soldiers. The appointed officers of newly raised Nidavellirian Imperial Guard regiments will try to get as many Svinfelling trained soldiers in their force. The House rules the fortress hive of Skirnirval, bordering the Vagrskinna Wastes, with practically all Houses and settlements south of the wastes owing allegiance to House Svinfelling. House Svinfelling is ruled in an unusual manner: with the death of the Starost a conference of all prominent House members is called. This extended family meeting then decides what House member will be a worthy successor for the position of Starost. This is often the eldest child of the previous Starost, but this is by no means a guarantee, and many heirs apparent have been snubbed in favour of other candidates.
