Pel Laurent (a.k.a. Propel)

Pel was born into the Laurent Clan just outside the Badlands, and had only entered the city only a few times in his life. He is the son of the clan patriarch and matriarch, Grant and Xochitl Laurent. They all originate from Germany, but had long ties in Native Cherokee and Seminole blood in NUSA. For years the Laurent Clan had lived in NUSA, traveling from the East Coast to Night City. They'd blow into town as a construction work gang, helping the government of Night City keeping the city development functional and stable after violent gang outbursts and cyberpsychosis attacks. Pel had been a driver all his life, working on his Komodo Thornton Galena, a compact car for most of his young life. The peaceful life of the Laurent Clan was almost abruptly broken as Pel's best friend and fellow clan member, Chex betrayed them and sold them out to Biotechnica for land renovations in their Badlands camp. Rex Alvarez, an Arasaka corpo greenlit the operation, and Chex gave the consent of all the Clan by lying and setting it in stone with a contract. Now with their people threatened after years with stable income and living standards, Pel vowed to flatline Chex and Rex. He went off into Night City and pass the border with his clan's Nomad privileges and free passage into the city to put and end to them both. To teach Arasaka execs some manners in respecting Nomad property, and to traitors to never betray the family.
