Oceanview Container Park

Oceanview Container Park is a small community composed of hundreds of refurbished shipping containers. These serve as temporary homes for the displaced population of Night City. Rent at Oceanview is 1000 eb per month, 2000 eb for "deluxe" double containers. Containers are typically stacked four high, with an extensive ladder and railing network to allow access to the upper levels. Bathroom and shower facilities are handled by large, shared buildings throughout the complex.
The containers have simple furnishings, including an autocooker, small refrigerator, bed, and NET access. There are dozens of vending machines throughout the park for access to cheap food. Parking is also available.
Security is handled by the Oceanview Enforcers. These are residents who keep the peace in exchange for discounts on their rent. They have been successful at keeping the gangs at bay, but crimes still happen in this complex. Any resident caught stealing from another resident's home is immediately evicted.
These containers have a very high turnover rate, as residents disappear, leave, or die quite frequently. There is a long waiting list for desperate citizens looking for a place with some degree of security.
